Nunasi Corporation announces appointment of new President and CEO
Clint Davis is an experienced and a nationally recognized business leader with a track record of success. He has extensive experience in Inuit business development serving for over eleven years as the Chair of the Board of Directors of Nunatsiavut Group of Companies.
March 2, 2020 – The Board of Directors of Nunasi Corporation are pleased to announce the appointment of Clint Davis as the President and CEO of Nunasi Corporation. Clint Davis is an experienced and a nationally recognized business leader with a track record of success. He has extensive experience in Inuit business development serving for over eleven years as the Chair of the Board of Directors of Nunatsiavut Group of Companies.
Clint was most recently the CEO of North35 Capital Partners, a business and capital advisory firm that works with Indigenous governments and economic development corporations to achieve growth by maximizing of their inherent competitive advantage. Prior to that role, he was the Vice President of Indigenous Banking at TD Bank Group.
Clint began his career as a lawyer in St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador, he later entered public service at the Department of Indian Affairs and Northern Development Canada. Upon leaving government, he moved to BMO Bank of Montreal where he was as the National Director for Aboriginal Banking, then later led the Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business as President and CEO.
Clint has a Bachelor of Business Administration from Acadia University, a Bachelors of Laws from Dalhousie University and a Masters of Public Administration from Harvard University, where he was a Canada-U.S. Fulbright scholar. He was the recipient of the 2016 Indspire Award for Business and Commerce and was recognized as a Distinguished Alumni by his alma mater Acadia University.

In 1976, the Inuit Tapiriit of Canada ((now Inuit Tapiriit Kanatami) created the Inuit Development Corporation (now Nunasi Corporation). The corporation was created for the purpose of Inuit taking a prominent role and place in commerce. Nunasi has investments in construction, transportation, retail, logistics, expediting, bulk fuel storage and supply, medical boarding homes, digital communications and manufacturing.
