Annie Aningmiuq Named Interim President and CEO of Nunasi Corporation

The Board of Directors of Nunasi Corporation is pleased to announce the appointment of Annie Aningmiuq as Interim President and CEO of Nunasi Corporation, effective April 1, 2024. With a strong background in working with Inuit organizations and government partners, Annie is well-positioned to lead Nunasi Corporation.
Annie is from Pangnirtung and has been a vital part of Nunasi Corporation’s leadership, serving as Vice President, Government and Community Relations since 2021. Annie will focus on advancing the corporation’s strategic growth and development, building on its commitment to fostering economic opportunities for Nunavummiut.

Annie Aningmiuq’s professional background is marked by key roles that have shaped her policy development, communications strategy, and relationship-building skills. She has previously held positions such as Manager of Policy and Communications at the National Association of Friendship Centres, Policy and Regional Affairs Advisor to the Honourable Carolyn Bennett, Federal Minister of Crown-Indigenous Relations, and Director of Indigenous Programming at Canada World Youth.
