Reporting to the Chair and Board of Directors, the President is responsible in providing leadership to ensure the company’s strategic objectives are met. The President will be responsible for providing a comprehensive, integrated plan for success of Larga Baffin Ltd., including:

  • Operational Management
  • Human Resource Management
  • Financial Resource Management

To be a successful candidate, you should possess substantive healthcare and health facilities development experience along with a proven track record of effective leadership and managerial skills. Preference will be given to Inuit candidates who are Beneficiaries from the Qikitani Region and who speak Inuktitut. The position is located in Ottawa, ON.

Vice President of Health Services

The Vice President, Health Services is responsible for representing the interest of Nunasi in the following Largas – Larga Kitikmeot (Yellowknife), Larga Ltd. (Edmonton), Larga Kivalliq (Winnipeg), Larga Baffin (Ottawa).  The Vice President will work closely with the Presidents of the Largas with a focus on building value and achieving consistency of services across the country while enhancing the current requirements and culture of each location. 

Reporting to the President/CEO, the Vice President will be responsible for providing a comprehensive, integrated plan for success in the Health Services industry, including:

  • Maximizing value from Larga operations
  • Identifying and executing on new opportunities in Health Services – e.g., Long Term Care
  • Developing and maintaining strong relations with the Governments of Nunavut and the NWT
  • Providing oversight, guidance and leadership in facility expansion in Edmonton, Winnipeg, Ottawa
  • Expanding Larga opportunities in Nunavut and across Canada

To be a successful Vice President at Nunasi, you should possess deep understanding of medical accommodations, Inuit and Indigenous cultures  and have a proven track record of effective leadership and managerial skills.
